connected marketingSkyelab founder, Schuyler Brown, is a well-known pop culture commentator and buzz marketing strategist. In 2005 she was approached by the editors, Justin Kirby and Paul Marsden, to write a chapter for their upcoming book, Connected Marketing: The Viral, Buzz, and Word of Mouth Revolution. The book was published in 2006 by Elsevier, Ltd. It is on shelves and available at Amazon.com.

Schuyler’s contribution is entitled, “Buzz Marketing: The Next Chapter.” It offers a perspective on where buzz marketing is going and how savvy brands can leverage the power of trends to create momentum. She discusses the concept of “pop life,” which is the state of living today in which the commercial and personal mingle to create more diverse and unique opportunities for brands and consumers to interact intimately.
